FNU Launches 2017 Exchanges for Cross-Strait Young Broadcasting & Hosting Talents

The launch ceremony of New Voices Convey Feelings” (2017 Exchanges for Cross-Strait Young Broadcasting & Hosting Talents) opened at the Hongda Hall, Qishan Campus of FNU on December 14, sponsored by Fujian Provincial Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television, and jointly held by SETV, Fujian Southeast Satellite Media Co., Ltd. and School of Communication, FNU. An exchange delegation of 16 teachers and students from Chinese Culture University and Taipei University of Education were invited to visit Fujian Province to participate in the exchange activities. Among others, Zeng Xianghui, Managing director of Fujian Media Group, Hu Yongxin, deputy directior of Fujian Provincial Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television, Zhong Zhigang, vice-director of Taiwan Affairs Office , Fujian Provincial Government, Pan Yuteng, deputy secretary of FNU Party Committee and Yang Jichang, director of Taipei Multimedia Production Association attended the ceremony and delivered a speech respectively.


At the ceremony, the sponsor presented the delegation flag to cross-strait university students representatives. Delegates from Association of Fujian Television Broadcasting, Taipei Multimedia Production Association, Chinese Culture University and Taiwan Youth Association for Friendly Visits signed the Memo for Cross-Strait Young Broadcasting & Hosting Talent Exchanges & Cooperation. Meanwhile, Fujian Provincial Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television presented School of Communication, FNU and other 7 institutions each with a plaque saying Training Base for Cross-Strait Young Broadcasting & Hosting Talent Exchanges. On the morning of December 14, School of Communication, FNU conducted a seminar on Cross-Strait Young Broadcasting & Hosting Talent Exchanges, where cross-strait students and teachers shared their knowledge and experiences in broadcasting & hosting. The activity will last for 5 days, when students from Taiwan and students from School of Communication, FNU will visit Fuzhou, Wuyishan City and Xiamen to engage in programme production. The related details will be broadcast through Home of Southeastern Lives on SETV and cross-strait social media, aiming to share the meaningful activity with more young people across the Taiwan Strait.
