Nobel Prize Winner Michael Levitt Visits FNU

On September 9th, Nobel laureate Michael Levitt and his wife Shoshan Brosh-Levitt visited FNU, Fujian Normal University for an exchange and tour. They were accompanied by the school leader Wang Changping, officials from the Party and Government Office, and the heads of College of Life Sciences.

During the visit, Michael Levitt and his wife toured College of Life Sciences, FJNU Biomedical Research Center of South China, and the Biological Museum in FNU. They were briefed on the development of College of Life Sciences in FNU and the achievements of FJNU Biomedical Research Center of South China. They highly praised the development of our discipline.

Michael Levitt, the recipient of the 2013 Nobel Prize in Chemistry, is a biophysicist and a professor of structural biology at Stanford University in the United States. He is also a member of the National Academy of Sciences. Susan Brosh Levitt is a renowned Israeli artist and a former professor at Peking University.
