International Students from FNU were invited to the Thematic Presentation on the Spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th CCP

Recently, the thematic presentation about the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Party, has been held in International Conference Room by Fujian Provincial Foreign Affairs Office. This presentation focused on the theme of “Build a community with a shared future for mankind; create a better life together”. Participants in this event included Lin Minrong, Li Jie, Qiu Xiaoyan, Wu Zengmao, the leaders of Fujian Provincial Foreign Affairs Office, Chen Xin, Professor from the Fujian Provincial Party School and Fujian Provincial Academy of Public Administration, as well as representatives of foreign students and teachers from Fuzhou colleges and universities. Among them, there were five international students from International College of Chinese Studies of FNU.

In the meeting, Professor Chen Xin gave a lecture on the interpretation of the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, focusing on the Party’s century-old experience in economic development, and the contribution of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. He interpreted Chinese wisdom and Chinese plan to build a better world with simple but vivid words.

During the interactive communication session, Li Na, a Sudanese student from FNU, spoke about her feelings about her growth in China in fluent Chinese. She said that she had a deeper understanding of the sentence “To understand China today, one must strive to understand the Communist Party of China (CPC)”, quoted from General Secretary Xi Jinping’s reply to international students of Peking University. She expressed her determination to further study Chinese, learn more about Chinese culture and experience in development, and work with the youth from all over the world to play an active role in promoting the connectivity about people-to-people exchanges. She stated her strong willing to become a messenger in spreading Chinese culture and contribute to the building of a community with a shared future for mankind.
