Recently, the 5th Fujian Literature Good Books List was announced. Sun Shaozhen Speech-style Prose Selections, written by Sun Shaozhen, professor of College of Chinese Language and Literature of FNU, was awarded as one of the “Excellent Books” (only 10 listed books in Fujian Province).
It is reported that the 5th Fujian Literature List of Good Books was sponsored by Fujian Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, and Fujian Federation of Literary and Art Circles (FFLAC), and undertaken by Fujian Provincial Library and Fujian Writers Association. In the end, 10 “Excellent Books”, 10 “Recommended Books”, and 8 “Excellent Organizational Units” were selected, and 5 “Readers’ Favorite Books” were voted by readers. The award ceremony was held in Fuzhou on April 23. Wang Qiumei, secretary of the Party leadership group and vice chairman of FFLAC, Zhang Lifeng, second-level counselor of Fujian Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, and Chen Yida, member of the Party leadership group, secretary of the secretariat and vice chairman of FFLAC, and chairman of Fujian Writers Association, attended the event, and presented awards to representatives of award-winning authors and outstanding organizational units. Professor Sun Shaozhen also participated in the book-signing and donation activity on the spot.
